Adequate Celebration of Record-breaking Year

Following old tradition the wind ensemble of the phg Peter Hengstler GmbH +Co. KG tuned in the guests with advent music on the Christmas celebration. Many of the appr. 220 employees had accepted the invitation of the management to Hotel Hirt.

Managing director Joachim Hengstler looked back at the business year 2016. He reported about full order books and a good order backlog. New customers and new projects had properly activated the phg-machinery over the year. “Together we have mastered a number of challenges”, Hengstler said. “All in all, these developments have resulted in a considerable turnover. We have passed the 30-million-mark.”

It had been the highest turnover in the history of phg and thus the company’s most successful year ever. For this success an adequate bonus was paid for all employees.

Honors were also in the focus of the company celebration. Stefan Emminger was awarded for 10 years. Michael Schuler can look back at 20 years of employment. This was followed by further honors including the handing over of a certificate issued by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Beginning with Lidia Schmidtgal who has been in the company for 25 years. 30 years ago, Annemarie Blust joined phg. Gerhard Haas and Jürgen Hengstler were honored for 35 years of loyal services. Managing director Alfons Honer joined the company 40 years ago, i.e. two years after the company was established by Peter Hengstler. All persons honored received a present from Joachim Hengstler for the many years of loyalty and commitment to the company.
