Proud Mid-year Resume of phg
A celebration with status report at the outset of school holidays: this is a long-standing tradition at phg Peter Hengstler GmbH + Co. KG in Deißlingen, and it was kept alive again this summer: On Friday, 28 July, managing director Joachim Hengstler reported to the guests in the marquee on the company premises on the first half year - and he had a lot of positive things to talk about.
No less than 13 percent of increase in turnover compared to the same period last year by an enormous order volume, numerous new employees and good prospects for the second half of the year: just some of the reasons to celebrate on this day. The three trade fairs visited this year had certainly been helpful in this respect. The fourth trade fair in 2017, Hengstler reported, would follow in autumn with the trade fair SPS in Nuremberg.
In his resume of the first half year 2017 Hengstler could also list internal successes: In late March the phg-team successfully mastered the recertification acc. norms DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and 14001:2015 environmental management systems.
With the certification process a new software system for the presentation and optimization of the integrated management system was introduced.
Apart from these commercial successes Hengstler also appreciated in his address to the guests what the “phg-family” had achieved outside work. Patryk Klimiuk, Stefan Baumann and Manuel Hengstler took part in the 3rd Deißlingen company duathlon for phg and demonstrated an excellent performance. In the combined running and cycling contest the phg-starters ranked second in the end.
With so many accomplishments employees like to stay with phg, something that became evident during the honoring of long-term employees. To the applause of the guests Joachim Hengstler found the right words for each of the long-term employees: Özlem Akcamur, Violeta Kalapis, Irina Kapp, Lilli Pinneker, Erika Sauter, Stefan Eisemann and Günter Munk were honored for 10 years. Karla Braunagel and Ulrike Musial have been on the team at phg for 20 years. Janina Widera and Thomas Honer were honored for 25 years of employment with the company, and Veronika Stern was honored with a gift for no less than 35 years of loyal service.
