Strong mid-year balance sheets for phg

Kicking off the school holidays with a party and a status report is a long-standing tradition for the Deißlingen-based phg Peter Hengstler GmbH + Co. KG: Managing Director Joachim Hengstler had many good things to say about the first half of the year in the party tent on company grounds on July 28.

An impressive 13 percent increase in sales compared to the same period of the previous year thanks to an enormous order intake, several new employees and good prospects for the second half of the year: these are just some of the factors that provided plenty of good reasons to celebrate. This growth was certainly aided by the three trade fairs that were visited in the first half of the year. The fourth trade fair appearance in 2017 will follow this autumn at the SPS trade fair in Nuremberg, according to Hengstler.

In his review of the first half of 2017, Hengstler was also able to report internal successes. At the end of March, the phg team mastered its recertification in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Systems and 14001: 2015 Environmental Management Systems standards. The certification process also introduced a new software system for the presentation and optimization of the integrated management system.

In addition to these business successes, Hengstler’s address also honored what the “phg family” achieved outside of work. For example, Patryk Klimiuk, Stefan Baumann and Manuel Hengstler took part in the 3rd Deißlinger company duathlon for phg and performed outstandingly. In the mixed running and cycling event, the phg starters finished second place.

The fact that such successful employees like to stay with phg was shown in the final tribute to loyal employees. To the applause of the guests, Joachim Hengstler found the right words to honor each of his longtime colleagues: Özlem Akcamur, Violeta Kalapis, Irina Kapp, Lilli Pinneker, Erika Sauter, Stefan Eisemann and Günter Munk were honored for their ten years with the firm. Karla Braunagel and Ulrike Musial have been members of the team for 20 years. Janina Widera and Thomas Honer were honored for 25 years of service, and Veronika Stern was honored and given a gift for her 35 years of loyal service to phg.
