2012

An additional building with approx. 1,400m² makes space for rapid growth. The official opening is in summer 2012.


2011

phg selected as the company of the month in August in the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg winner region.


2010

Peter Hengstler will receive the economic medallion from state of Baden-Wuerttemberg.

phg successfully passed the certification for the quality management system for medical products according to DIN EN ISO 13485.


2009

phg survives the economic crisis with a 25% fall in turnover. The increase also happened quickly. No employees were let go. First trade fairs, additional trade fairs (Security, Dornbirn, i+e)


2006

The 20 mil. euro mark has been passed for the first time.

Environmental management at phg certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001.

We moved into construction stage 3. The increase of the office area with an additional 392 m² and the addition of an additional 2-storey building to the existing production area with 880 m² results in an additional 1,272 m² of floor space. Thus, phg now has 4,258 m² of floor space at its disposal.


2005

The continuous expansion of medical technology bears fruit. As an established partner for the customer-specific development and production of medical technology components, this division assumes a prominent position at phg.


2003

Addition of a warehouse. Logistics has found space for Kanban storage, cable storage and trimming in an additional 206 m².


2002

2000

A clean room is put into operation for the production of sterile products for medical technology. Customer-specific single-use products are produced for HF surgery. High-tech products were developed in close collaboration with the customer.


1999

More space for development and production. We are moving into a 2-storey annexe with 1,500m².


1995

As one of the first LEGIC system licence holders, the guides at phg were switched in the direction of contactless reading technologies. Enormous market penetration was achieved with the RFID reader ORIS 100. 100,000 of the ORIS 100 have been sold to date.

The quality management system at phg has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1995.

phg expands its program. In addition to conventional cable assembly, the development and production of special plugs and injection moulded plug systems as well as spiral cables constitute an additional part of the comprehensive range of products.

1993

Joachim Hengstler joins the company as the managing partner. At Peter Hengstler's side he takes over the overall management of both business divisions.


1991

Due to rapid growth, two years later - in 1991 - the production area was expanded by 280m² for a total of 1,262m². 


1989

phg moved into the newly built company building in the Deißlinger industrial area sector 2. With 982 m², it is twice as large as the previous business premises. The Hebelstr. building is also used as an external warehouse.

1983

The overall area of the building was increased by 40%. At the same time, additional rooms in the "old school" in the centre of Deißlingen had to be rented for the data technology business division.


1981

Jürgen Hengstler (partner) joins the company as a design engineer and trained precision engineer. The start of the CAD age runs its course.


1977

The continuous expansion of the businesses allows the "cable assembly" division to significantly grow. Thus, in 1977 significantly larger rooms were first rented and later purchased in Hebelstraße (former parish hall).


1973 1974

Peter Hengstler registers tool building as the main trade under the name phg Peter Hengstler KG and produces the first devices, e.g. for reading an individual IBM punch card, in the basement of his private home in Deißlingen.
